Simula was a character concept created for translation into a cyberpunk themed showcase. I really loved working on this character design and so many aspects of the cyberpunk theme.

The process of early designs for Simula was quite lengthy.

I dabbled a lot into biomechanical designs at first before shifting more towards organic and humane forms. Simula was a character who could be empathized with, not feared.

I dabbled a lot into biomechanical designs at first before shifting more towards organic and humane forms. Simula was a character who could be empathized with, not feared.

A recent team 3D-modelling Showcase that I was the character designer, 3D character artist, and VFX artist for. The theme strongly influenced by cyberpunk.

3D assets were modeled and rigged in 3DS Max, and texturing was done in Unreal Engine 4 and Substance Painter. It was very interesting creating plastic materials and hair in Unreal Engine 4! A very educational experience in which I learnt a great deal.

I served as the character designer during the pre-production phase, and the sole character artist during 3D production as well as one of the VFX artists and with modelling 3d Environment assets.
